The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has validated the near-term greenhouse gas emissions reduction target of CITIC HIC Gándara Censa, S.A.U.

This validation confirms that our greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets conform with the SBTi Criteria and Recommendations (Near-Term Criteria V5.3).

The official validated targets are:

✅ CITIC HIC Gándara Censa, S.A.U. commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42.0% by 2030 from a 2023 base year.

✅ CITIC HIC Gándara Censa, S.A.U. also commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services and fuel- and energy-related activities 37.5% by 2035 from a 2023 base year.

At CITIC CENSA, sustainability is part of our vision for the future and the way we develop our industrial activities. The validation of these targets represents an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to responsible management and continuous improvement.
